Glorify Green is your go-to environmental survival guide. From eating low emission foods to fighting climate change deniers we’ve got you covered. Oh and the best part is that we’re just college kids hoping for a better future. It doesn’t take a Ph.D or unrealistic lifestyle changes to make a small step in the right direction.
We live in a world where forests the size of Panama are lost each year, over 220 million tons of waste is dumped into landfills in America alone, and carbon dioxide has reached 405.6 parts per million (the highest in the last 650,000 years). We can’t simply blame the oil companies, coal plants, or factories in China for our battered world because it was the demand that kept these companies dumping greenhouse gases into our air.
This is where the demand stops.
It wasn’t the Exxon Valdez captain’s driving that caused the Alaskan oil spill. It was yours. ~Greenpeace advertisement, New York Times, 25 February 1990
Glorify Green will help answer all your questions: how to decipher through the confusing data on climate change to living a vegan lifestyle (and did know that the meat industry contributes more greenhouse gases than all of the transportation in the world?).
So what do you say? Stop the demand. Let’s make the world a little greener.
